TeachSurfing is launching its first event in POLAND together with our new host Centrum Wielokulturowe w Warszawie ! We are super excited about our new destination, especially our team member Beata!

But what is TeachSurfing?
TeachSurfing is a social startup founded in 2015 in Berlin, Germany. Our vision is to bridge cultural gaps and enrich education by bringing people together through knowledge-sharing events. The goal is to connect volunteers (so-called TeachSurfers) with host organizations to organize informal educational activities such as workshops.

Our beloved TeachSurfer Tim is traveling to WARSAW and he wants to share his knowledge with you! Tim Kleeberg is a student of electrical engineering in Berlin and writing his bachelor thesis about electric mobility. He is part of the engineering, technical support and business development team of Ebee smart technologies, building electric car charging stations for over 4 years.

WHAT WILL TIM SHARE?
Electrical energy is the most effective form of energy. It is easy to transform, save and reload. The Industrial Revolution was born, when electricity replaced steam as the main power source in the industry. Now, our modern society works only due to electric energy supplies on-demand. However, a huge amount of energy is wasted daily and the technology is not used in a safe way. Electrical engineering has a crucial impact on our society and the environment. Therefore, it’s one of the most impactful career paths you can pursue. In this workshop, Tim will introduce you to the safe and sustainable electrical engineering and show you possible career paths within the field.

WHO CAN COME?
Everyone! This workshop is especially for people who want to learn about electrical engineering and get to know more about the safe and sustainable use of electricity in their daily life.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE SHOT BY GERMAN TELEVISION ZDF.
