Hi I’m Angela 👋🏻
I’m Canadian-Polish. I was born in Canada in the early 90s, but I was raised by Polish parents. I’ve had the opportunity to live in both countries since my childhood. For most of my life I chose to live in Poland only visiting relatives for vacations.

This year, 2025, I returned to Canada for three months to work remotely, travel, and spend time with my family, only to realize that neither country ever stopped feeling like home.

My story is a mix of tales about:
- benefits of dual citizenship,
- how living between two worlds can be an advantage in the long run,
- travel and everyday life in Canada,
- food and snacks that are rare or unknown in Poland,
...and everything in between 🍁🥟

During the talk, we’ll explore the Greater Toronto Area (GTA 😉) in Ontario, and a bit of the Quebec province, mostly, I’ll try to answer questions like:
- What should you know before traveling to Ontario or Quebec?
- How different are Polish and Canadian cultures from each other?
- Why does Quebec City feel so much like home to a European?
- Why shouldn’t you probably buy maple syrup in Canada - and what do I recommend instead?
- Which places and activities in Ontario during summer might (or might not) be worth your time and money?
