SHOE MAN MAX is one-man band from Ukraine who plays guitar, harmonica, foot tambourine and sings at the same time. He is one of the best known and active figures in the roots music community throughout Ukraine for more than 20 years.

His tour road with more than 150 shows per year led him to Turkey, Spain,Poland,Andorra and France,not to mention every corner of Ukraine. Shoe Man Max has the huge repertoire of more than 400 songs. Besides his own compositions (soon to be recorded as the album) he plays blues classics by giants of Delta Blues, Chicago titans and rhythm-and-blues legends.
On his concerts you can hear surprising and rocking versions of songs by The Doors, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, JJ Cale,Chris Rea, Dire Straits and other good-time music.
In addition to his one-man band performances, Shoe Man Max ( known in Ukraine as Max Tavrichesky) is the organizer of Kyiv Blues Fest the country’s only blues festival.Since 2004 he manages the oldest running blues jam in Kyiv that regularly features American and European bluesmen. He has opened the shows for Guy Davis, Eddie Martin and John Nemeth and has done projects with Keith Dunn, Big Creek Slim,Robert Lighthouse, Will Jacobs, Daniel Jeanrenaud,Shanna Waterstown,Mike Greene and many more.
