Coraz częściej nasze życie przenosimy do strefy wirtualnej. Ile razy w tygodniu zdarza się wam zajrzeć na Wikipedię?
Ileż prac domowych i wypracowań pomogła nam stworzyć ta cyfrowa encyklopedia... Wychodzimy z założenia że nie ma wśród nas takich, którzy z niej nie korzystali... najwyżej się nie przyznają 😉
Łatwo przychodzi nam krytykowanie tego narzędzia, ale ilu z was udoskonaliło tam choć jedno hasło? Zgodnie z motto "wszyscy chcą ratować Świat, ale nikomu nie chce się pozmywać naczyń" chcemy to zmienić, i zachęcić was do poszerzania wiedzy swojej i innych oraz budowania haseł merytorycznych i poprawnych.
Z okazji Dnia Przeciwdziałania Islamofobii zapraszamy na godzinę 16:00 do Centrum Wielokulturowego w Warszawie na spotkanie edytowania Wikipedii. Będziemy poprawiać wspólnie tą internetową Encyklopedię pod kątem tematów związanych z Islamem. Mamy dostępne stanowiska komputerowe oraz miejsce na pracę na własnym laptopie. Spotkanie rozpoczniemy od przybliżenia zasad Wikipedii a potem wspólnie przećwiczymy nowo nabytą wiedzę i poprawimy parę haseł 😃

We are increasingly moving our lives into the virtual realm. How many times a week do you find yourself looking at Wikipedia?
How many homeworks and essays have this digital encyclopaedia helped us create? We assume that there are none of us who have not used it.... at most they won’t admit it 😉
It’s easy for us to criticise this tool, but how many of you have improved at least one entry there? In line with the motto "everyone wants to save the World, but no one wants to wash the dishes", we want to change that, and encourage you to expand your own and others’ knowledge and build entries that are factual and correct.
On the occasion of the Day Against Islamophobia, we invite you to a Wikipedia editing meeting at 4 pm at the Multicultural Centre in Warsaw. We will be correcting this online Encyclopaedia together for topics related to Islam. We have computer stations available and space to work on your own laptop. We will start the meeting with an introduction to the rules of Wikipedia and then together we will practice our newly acquired knowledge and correct some entries 😃 If you do not speak Polish, you can still participate, but it will be important for you to take care of the sources, as the ones we have prepared are mainly in Polish. Wikipedia has the advantage that you can edit entries in the language version you know 🙂
