On 27 September 2024 at 18:30, the Warsaw Gasworks Museum invites you to a unique event. To mark the farewell to summer, there will be a screening of the cult film ‘Dirty Dancing’, which is forever etched in the history of cinema.

‘Dirty Dancing’ is the story of a young girl, played by Jennifer Grey, who spends a holiday with her family at a luxury resort. There, she meets a handsome dance instructor, John (Patrick Swayze), and an affection is born between them that changes their lives. The film won the hearts of audiences and critical acclaim, and its soundtrack, which won an Oscar and a Golden Globe in 1988, remains one of the most memorable in cinema history.

Depending on the weather, the screening will take place in the charming courtyard of the Warsaw Gasworks Museum or - in case of unfavourable weather conditions - inside. Whatever the weather conditions, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy not only the classic film, but also the unique atmosphere of one of Warsaw’s most interesting monuments.

We cordially invite you to say goodbye to summer together, accompanied by ‘Dirty Dancing’ and the unique atmosphere of the Warsaw Gasworks Museum.

For motorists, municipal car parks are available near the Warsaw Gasworks Museum
