Henning Wagenbreth jest ilustratorem i projektantem graficznym, tworzy własne kroje pisma, traktuje ręczne i przemysłowe techniki drukowania jako ważną część swojej pracy projektowej. Ilustruje i projektuje książki, plakaty, gazety i czasopisma w rozmiarach. Między znaczkami pocztowymi a gigantycznymi plakatami, między zleconymi pracami a własnymi projektami artystycznymi, między oryginalną pracą a masowo produkowanymi przedmiotami wkracza również w obszary filmu animowanego, teatru i muzyki. Od 1994 roku pracuje jako profesor ilustracji na UdK w Berlinie.

We have the honour to invite you to a meeting with Professor Henning Wagenbreth, distinguished artist, creator of posters, illustrations, scenography and multimedia performances, Dean of the graphics faculty and lecturer at the UdK in Berlin.
The lecture entitled "Wagenbreth’s Travelling Theatre Concepts of illustration" will begin at 19:15 on Tuesday 8th October 2024. The event will take place at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw at ul. Koszykowa 86 in Warsaw in the auditorium A1 in building A.

Henning Wagenbreth works as an illustrator and graphic designer, makes his own typefaces, understands manual and industrial printing techniques as an important part of his design work, illustrates and designs books, posters, newspapers and magazines in sizes between postage stamps and giant hangers, between commissioned jobs and his own art projects, between original work and mass-produced objects, undertakes detours into animation film, theatre and music, works since 1994 as professor of the illustration class at the University of Arts in Berlin.
