Na przykładzie m.in.

Theatre of History: Museums, Performance, and Identity | Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett

The shift from “exhibition” to “exposition” within the history of museums is particularly important in history museums, which have become ever more theatrical and performative. The stakes are high, especially in relation to identity, identities, and identification.

To what extent are museums and their exhibitions in the service of consolidation or open to contestation? In relation to Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN and other cases, the question will be explored by Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett – the chief curator of POLIN's core exhibition and an active academic, specialised in museology, performance studies and heritage studies.

The lecture will be held in English and translated to Polish.
