Monumenty i przestrzeń publiczna odzwierciedlają pamięć zbiorową społeczności. Gdy schowana w zaroślach na skwerze rzeźba przypomina o swojej obecności, przed mieszkańcami miasta staje widmo konfrontacji przeszłością. Indywidualne doświadczenia są różne, ale wspólny okazuje się strach przed tym, co wyparte.
廣場 (Skwer) Karoliny Breguły to pełnometrażowa, filmowa opowieść, na wystawie w Królikarni rozpisana na dziewięć zsynchronizowanych projekcji wideo, które tworzą nielinearną kompozycję.
Zdjęcia zrealizowano w Polsce i w Tajwanie. Producentem filmu jest galeria z 海馬 迴 光 畫 館 (Fotoaura Institute Photography), głosu rzeźbie użyczyła Manami Kakudo.
Autorem plakatu jest Jhen-fa Yan, słynny 65-letni tajwański mistrz malowanych plakatów filmowych.

Monuments and public space reflect the collective memory of the community. When a sculpture hidden in the bushes that grow in a square begins to make its presence felt, the town dwellers face a confrontation with the past. Individual experiences may vary, yet the fear of the repressed turns out to be common.
廣場 (The Square) by Karolina Breguła is a feature-length film story. At the exhibition at Królikarnia, the work adopts the form of nine synchronised video projections that form a non-linear composition.
The film was shot in Poland and in Taiwan. The producer is 海馬 迴 光 畫 館 (Fotoaura Institute Photography) gallery, the sculpture’s voice belongs to Manami Kakudo.
The poster was created by Jhen-fa Yan, the famous 65 year old Taiwanese master of painted film posters.
