For the very first time we would like to invite you to an unusual experience. On 20th November (6:30 PM) come and watch the documentary directed and produced by Damian Kudelka.

🎥 Film description:
“By Any Means Necessary” is a social justice documentary exploring why the NYPD, and US police departments more broadly, routinely use deadly force against non-violent minor offenders without receiving any punishment beyond losing vacation days. The film examines police practices primarily through the lens of the NYPD Eric Garner incident and asks how things can change. The NYPD officers used a department policy prohibited chokehold on Mr. Garner because he was selling 50 cent cigarettes on the street and wound up choking him to death.

The film screened in film festivals in the US and Paris. Best Documentary Feature Award in NYC Independent Film Festival 2019 & Special Jury Award NYCtoParis Festival 2019.

❗ WARNING ❗ The film contains strong language, violent scenes and is dedicated for adult viewers only.

Take part in the meeting after the screening, the author of the film will answer your questions about his work and tell you some more about his project.

The film and meeting is only in English - there will be no Polish subtitles.
