Wielu z nas z niepokojem i nadzieją obserwuje rozwój wydarzeń na Białorusi po ostatnich wyborach prezydenckich. Solidaryzujemy się z walczącymi o wolność, pokojowo protestującymi mieszkańcami tego kraju organizując wydarzenie #lightforbelarus.
W weekend 12-13 września na fasadzie budynku siedziby Instytutu Adama Mickiewicza w Warszawie, jak i wielu innych instytucji kultury w Polsce i zagranicą, pojawi się iluminacja w kolorach historycznej biało-czerwono-białej flagi Białorusi. Do akcji może dołączyć każdy, kto chce wyrazić poparcie dla wolnościowych dążeń Białorusinów. Wystarczy wykonać drobny gest, taki jak własnoręczne wykonanie flagi, podświetlenie swojego okna w kolorach białoruskich lub wydrukowanie naszego plakatu oraz/lub flagi Białorusi
( link ). Pokażmy Białorusinom i Białorusinkom, że międzynarodowe społeczność ludzi kultury wspiera ich dążenia do zmiany!

Many of us have been following with both worry and hope the recent events unfolding in Belarus in the wake of the presidential election. In support of peaceful protesters who are fighting for freedom in Belarus, we will hold a special event: #lightforbelarus.
On the weekend of 12/13 September, the façade of the head office of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw, similar to many other cultural institutions in Poland and internationally, will be illuminated in the colours of the historic white-red-white flag of Belarus. You can join in to stand by the Belarussians’ aspirations for freedom! It takes very little: make your own flag, light up your windows in the Belarussian colours, or print out our poster and/or flag (link. Let’s tell all Belarussians that the international community of people of culture stands by them in their aspirations for a change!
We encourage you to use our #LightForBelarus frame on your profile pictures and to share your pictures from the campaign in the social media and use the hashtags #lightforbelarus #freebelarus #belaruselections2020 #żywiebiełaruś.
