Telewizja umarła czy raczej żyjemy w czasach post-telewizji? Dzisiaj każdy może mieć własny kanał? „PTV. Performans TV” to eksperymentalny program performatywny w formie studia telewizyjnego. Jego punktem wyjścia jest chęć zbadania wpływu tego medium i jego języka na aktualne praktyki artystyczne.
W pierwszym odcinku „PTV. Performans TV” badaczka postperformansu Marie de Brugerolle zastanowi się, co łączy studio telewizyjne ze studiem artysty i czy telewizja mogłaby być źródłem sztuki konceptualnej. Po przerwie, artystka Oreet Ashery przedstawi fragmenty serialu internetowego „Revisiting Genesis”, poświęconego śmierci w sieci. Kulminacją wieczoru będzie rozmowa o umieraniu w formacie „Death Cafe”. Zaprosimy także na tort i herbatę. Dominika Olszowy zbuduje studio telewizyjne na potrzeby swojego nowego programu. W Kinie w U–jazdowskim pojawi się zwiastun premierowego „Bloku 4”, produkcji berlińskiego kolektywu artystycznego – CONGLOMERATE TV.

Is television dead – or are we living in a post-TV era? Can everyone have their own channel? PTV: Performance TV is an experimental performative programme in the form of a television studio. The starting point is the impact of the medium and its idiom on current artistic practices.
The post-performance researcher Marie de Brugerolle will look at what the TV studio and an artist’s studio have in common and whether television could be a source of conceptual art. After the interval, artist Oreet Ashery will present fragments of her web series about digital death – "Revisiting Genesis". The high – or low – point of the evening will be a discussion about dying, in the format of the "Death Café" Tea and cake provided. Dominika Olszowy will build a TV studio for the purpose of her new programme. In our cinema there will be the preview trailer of "Block 4" produced by the Berlin art collective CONGLOMERATE TV.
