Fed up of small talk & chat about work? Missing intelligent conversation on a diverse range of topics? The Friday Conversation could be what you need!

At this meeting we’ll be discussing:
1. Issue: Singledom - blessed release or life sentence?
2. Current affairs: How real is the threat of war spilling over from Ukraine into Europe?
3. Choice: one or more topics suggested and agreed upon by participants. It doesn’t have to be overly serious! Come prepared with an idea :)

Like any good conversation, it’s organic - we’ve no idea where the conversation will lead or where we’ll end up. Give it a go!

Nice venues like Caffe Kafka cost money to run! If you come, please buy a drink or something to help keep it open :)

We promote natural conversation (it’s not a debate) but a few basic ground rules are:
- let others have their say
- don’t dominate the conversation
- if there’s disagreement, simply ’agree to differ’
- robust views are acceptable, prejudices such as racism, sexism, etc, are not.
