Book Club returns for the fall! Fresh from vacation, we meet on September 26 (Thursday) at 5:30 PM. If you want to meet some new people and talk about books, you just found the right place!
Hosted by our Canadian volunteer Andrew, the Book Club is a monthly event, each time focused on a different book.

We’re reading "Stoner" by John Edward Williams. Called an "American masterpiece," it’s a story of an unremarkable life lived by an average man that "with truthfulness, compassion and intense power ... uncovers a story of universal value - of the conflicts, defeats and victories of the human race that pass unrecorded by history - and in doing so reclaims the significance of an individual life" (from the publisher).
