We invite everyone to a unique online meeting “New Neighbours - Differences That Unite Us”, which will be held on December 16. The event will be hosted by socially engaged Influencer Michalina Tańska, she will talk to people from Ukraine who left due to the war and ask wondering questions to a mental health expert. Our goal is not only to discuss, but first and foremost to work towards better social integration and mental health support for people who have found themselves in Poland as a result of the war.

What will we discuss?

We will discuss the challenges of integration among people from Ukraine and what their mental health situation is like. We would like to break down stereotypes, address intercultural differences and look for what unites us despite our differences. At the event, there will be an opportunity to listen to personal stories of migrants who share their experiences of life in Poland - both difficulties and successes.

A mental health specialist will give us an insight into how human beings are affected by war experiences, and what processes influence the difficulties in communicating between the Polish and Ukrainian communities.

At the event, you can ask questions of the speakers and participants to better understand the various perspectives and challenges of migration and make valuable contacts.
