If you want to meet some new people and talk about books, you just found the right place! Hosted by our Canadian volunteer Andrew, the Book Club is a monthly event, each time focused on a different book.
This month Book Club meets on May 29 (Wednesday) at 6 PM! We’re reading "Demon Copperhead" by Barbara Kingsolver, a Pulitzer-winning novel. From the publisher: "Set in the mountains of southern Appalachia, Demon Copperhead is the story of a boy born to a teenaged single mother in a single-wide trailer, with no assets beyond his dead father’s good looks and copper-colored hair, a caustic wit, and a fierce talent for survival..."
